Paul M. Doolittle, P.A. is a boutique law firm with the sole purpose of providing relief to individuals who are injured. All too often, we see legitimate claims denied by egregious insurance companies that view an injured individual as nothing but a fraud, rather than a human being in need of help. For almost 20 years, Paul M. Doolittle, P.A. has established an exceptional reputation across the country for zealously and relentlessly representing their clients, while maintaining the utmost professionalism. We strive to be the most credible, ethical, and professional attorneys possible, but most importantly, we are personable.

While in undergraduate school, Paul’s inspiration for the law started after taking a political science class on constitutional law; from there, Paul’s pursuit of the legal profession took off like a rocket. Paul began his legal career with a firm that specialized in arson and accidental fire claims. A few years later, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he began representing the Jacksonville-area shipyards. Disillusioned with representing insurance companies, in 1992, Paul began representing those injured on the job or as a result of the negligence of others. In 1998, Paul M. Doolittle, P.A. was established to combat the money-hungry insurance companies and defend the rights of injured individuals. Although expanding, the firm has been in the same location in Jacksonville, Florida for 16 years.

As Paul watched the Florida Legislature eviscerate laws that were meant to help injured workers, he became involved in organizations dedicated to protecting those workers’ rights; as a result, Paul passionately fought, in the Florida Legislature and elsewhere, to protect the rights of the injured. Paul has been on the Board of Directors of the Florida Workers Advocates for over 15 years, and he is also an Advocate-Board Member of Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group. In addition to representing Florida’s injured, Paul has represented Longshoremen and Defense Base Act contractors across the globe for more than 23 years. Despite many obstacles in the law, Paul’s passion for protecting the rights of workers persevered.

While an undergraduate at the University of South Florida, Zachary Tucker originally majored in psychology, somewhat defying those close to him that suggested he pursue law. Shortly thereafter, Zach quickly realized his underlying desire for the law and began the pre-law, political science track in pursuit of his legal career. In 2011, Paul hired Zach as a temporary legal intern while he was in law school. Quickly realizing Zach’s legal ability and similar desire to help the injured, Paul hired Zach full time in 2012. Zach is compassionate toward his clients and truly fights, tooth and nail, for their rights, epitomizing the slingshot used by David to defeat Goliath. Zach views an injured individual’s fight against the giant insurance companies no differently.

Since 2012, Paul and Zach have worked seamlessly together to further the firm’s fight for the injured. Their unique styles of practice are complementary; one being more experienced while the other more aggressive. Overall, the combination of their perspectives on the law is invaluable to their clients.
